with out having any measurements to go on my best guess would be that it uses the 77-80 trans-am rear rotors they were the same bolt pattern and were 11" if i'm not mistaken. if so then you will just need a set of rotors for a 79 Trans-am.

Great rearend for the price.. welds look very strong. nice beads all around! even made custom shock mounts with the QP (quick performance) logo, defiantly the ultimate choice.. said to handle up to 1500hp..

Yeah I am on here all the time... but i found a kit and waiting for it to get here now. kore3.com make a z06 front 6 piston and 355mm rotor kit complete with hubs, brackets, brake lines, rotors and pads, everything needed. All you have to do is swap in a spindle setup from a 2wd blazer or s10 97-02 and you set the kits runs about 1400 complete and a z06 4 piston set up with 345mm rotors for the rear for another 1200 complete.. so for 2600-2800 you can upgrade your factory 2 pistons to 20 pistons lol wild.. also I will be install a BBODY brake booster and master so help for the extra pressure needed
