Default Seats

Have anyone changed from the stock seats in their G-body? I am trying to decide to go with either Charger or Acura Seats. Don't know if the charger seats will fit with a console from a 05 grand prix. any thoughts comments welcome

Not sure about your fitment with a GP console, but to change to buckets, you'll need bucket seat brackets. If your car has a 60/40 bench seat set up, the holes should already be on the floor and those brackets can be adapted to your bucket seats.
Be sure to watch the clearance at the headrest of tje seat. If it sits too high, the headrest will hit the headliner if you try to recline or adjust the seat.
These are seats I scored from Summit earlier this year. I used the brackets and sliders from a 60/40 seat in a G body El Camino.

X2 on the brackets. I have seats from a 99 or 2000 Trans Am in mine. This is the only picture I can find.

Yes if you get the brackets for bucket seat.

DANG! I like! I have a set of buckets from a 2006 Grand Prix four door and set from a 99 Grand Prix GT (these are going into my Malibu). I am going to fab up some seat mounting that will be burned in and reinforced where needed. Bench to bucket conversion by the way.

Keep in mind that the 4-dr seat backs will not fold forward.

I know, that's why I am going with the 99 Grand Prix GT seats. Even thought the 05 are power to the max and nice as new....The 99 are a two door car seats! Thanks though. Had I not known that, I would have been screwed!
