Default Forest Lane Cruise 6/28/14

If there's any GBC members in North Texas, please come out to The Forest Lane Cruise in North Dallas!

I'll be there in our car club/shirt booth thats set-up near the Mobil-1 where the bands are playing!
Just look for The North Texas El Camino Group vehicles on display! We'll have serious media coverage including celebrity appearances throughout the day so stop by to see us!
There will also be a secret guest who will be wearing our club shirt!
This is a free event and will grab over 2,000 attendees, so bring whatever cars & motorcycles you have!

Also, we'll have Special Edition Forest Lane Cruise El Camino shirts for sale in which proceeds will be donated to charity.

What would this thread be without pics?
Here's a few pics from this historical day!
This cruise event has been going on since the 60s when they used to street race down this iconic strip!
It was a day to hang out with friends from as far Oklahoma and close as Waco.

Here's the shirt booth and display vehicles I chose to be the face of The North Texas El Camino Group for this event.

And what would this event be without tagging all the El Caminos with The North Texas El Camino Group decals?!

We gained 4 members just by showing up in force!

Here's a vid of the event. Thats me at the beginning sporting the Cowboy hat.
The police at the end we escorting a HUGE flatbed truck that hauls pylons for the freeway. It needed an escort due to how long it is and for the 2 lanes it takes up. Lol

Hell of a turn out. I liked the Impala a lot more when he dropped it down from the stage coach look.
