Thanks guys! I think I can squeeze a bunch more out of it with timing. Right now, its only at 29 total.
I need to pull it up to at least 32 or 34.
It's hard to get it to hook up on street tires as it is now.
I tested the stall at a light today and it damn near ripped the concrete up. Lol
Let say it was a very successful launch.
I'm running 91 octane, so what do you guys recommend on timing?

Sounds pretty good. What compression and iron or aluminum heads? I ran 34 on my aluminum headed 383 with 10.9 to 1 compression.

Thanks! It's 10:1 compression with ported BPE aluminum heads.

Had a total blast at Super Chevy this past weekend! My ears are still ringing from the pro mods, top fuel cars and I have the coolest sleeper El Camino.
We rolled in deep to super chevy with several ECs and pulled a few while we were there.
Best weekend in ages!
Had a time trying to hook on street tires so now I think drag radials will be on the to do list.

The GF caught me kicking back draining the oil.
I almost fell asleep under there because I was so drained this weekend.

Only did 2 runs.. First run was low 14s, 2nd run was mid 13s. I'll need to go dig around in my car for the timeslips.
On the second run, they told me I had to use a helmet the next time up. I didn't have mine, so I didn't run.
I never like renting helmets because I'm a germiphobe. I'm careful of what I stick my head in these days. Lmao.. I know that sounds nasty right?..
With a bit more testing and tuning, I'm positive I can push this car to mid to low 12s.

I think with some sticky drag radials 12s should be easy. Yeah, it's not good to stick you head where every Tom, Dick and Harry has stuck his head and got his jollies.
