Default Question

Hey guys I know this is a forum for G body platform but I can't find a forum for H body and Im hoping maybe the two are close enough that you can help me as I try and turn my 88 Delta 88 with FE3 suspension into a California Street legal sleeper (if at all possible)

1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88. I wanna make a good street legal sleeper/track while staying smog legal which I know is gonna require a lot of custom fabrication I'm just wondering if they make any bolt on performance parts for the 3800 engine and also wondering if their are any other cars that I could use suspension components off of since they don't make lowering kits or any aftermarket suspension upgrades for that matter for this vehicle

I wish I could find a cheap RWD one but I'm getting this cheap since its not running but I know what the issue is already and its a cheap fix well I narrowed it down to two things :). For those of you that know smog laws and such will raising compression change emission out puts? I wanna keep stock bore but raise compression from 8.5:1 to 9:1 and keep stock bore and stroke

It might I was thinking about finding a wrecked turbo one and doing a full swap but then I thought that'd be a lot of work for something that more than likely won't pass smog but i know they did have the heavy duty version of my trans in the turbo grand Prix so I was gonna try that swap and maybe use the injectors if they'd work. I'd just keep the stock stuff for smog it'd just be nice to find some pre made headers and such for it instead of having to find some one to custom make them and spend an arm and a leg for it lol
