Default Wiring Diagrams 1969-1987

Haynes has a book (I bought this book along time ago) that has all the circuit numbers, circuit color (wires), and the circuit name. It also has a schematic for each year from 1969 to 1987. Engine compartment, instrument panel (optional gauge circuit), rear lighting wiring diagrams.
My book has all I've stated previously, and the cover picture of the book on their web site is the same as mine.
The book: Chevrolet Chevelle V8 & V-6, 1969 thru 1987, Chevelle Malibu El Camino, Automotive Repair Manual

Doug

Their site states the book is on sale ( about $20 ). From 24.95 to sale price of 19.95

I don't know if this post is proper, if not please delete.

Check both switches in your door. One of them may be making even with the door closed.

Got the book ordered.

Johnnie does the light stay on when you have both switches pulled out and not touching metal?

They stay on when i have both doors shut, checked the dimmer switch and thats not it.I will have try pulling them both out to see what the light does.I think one of them is grounding out on metal somewhere else in the car.

Hi, Im new to this forum but having the same problem with my dome light circuit. The dome light, and courtesy lights under dash won't go off unless fuse is pulled. Did you have any luck figuring yours out? Any suggestions?

I also have that book, and it's helped me with a few wiring issues.
