Default I am the Brand New Guy......Need advice

Morning G Body enthusiasts....

I currently have a 85 El Camino that I am parting out. I also have a 87 El Camino I drive on weekends and slow on the driveway. I am taking out the dash from the 85. Its a B I T C H. Need advice if anyone can share. With hopes of taking out the cracked dash from the 87 and putting that one in.

Otherwise I have G Body parts from about 4 El Caminos interior and Body I need to sell. I am Midwest. Bloomington-Normal Illinois. Plan to attend the swap meet in Indy this week and then next month in Peotone. But if you guys need anything. Let me know pronto.....

nothing to the removal of the dash-unbolt,drop steering column, remove 3 underside bolts(1 near, parking break-ground,another in the middle under the ashtray area, and another on the pass side near the comp storage area/kickpanel)these along with 4 top side screws(in top dash vents)and remove the "chime module"(underdash near parking brake lever) and a good hold on it in the middle to steady it outsince you are parting out the 85,id opt to take out the seating as this will provide more space and aid in the removal of dash.now if/when you take out a gp dash then that is a pita!!!nehoo welcome to the show, and what color is the interior of the 85 parts elco? also is it a conquista? if so i may be interested in the trim if in good cond? lmk.
