Default 80 Malibu prerunner

I just posted my introduction with a brief history of my 1980 Malibu classic sedan. This build means a lot to me and I'm just here to share my memories with all of you and to have any advice or criticism is greatly appreciated. This isn't a quick build I don't have a lot of money but I'm working hard on doing everything myself and also started welding for the first time. I hope you all enjoy and by all means drop ideas or anything in the thread and I'll read everything.

Basically all I have done right now, the long travel kit is 14 inches down travel and 3.5 over. Currently just saving to pay the rest of the kit and yea finish playing and bracing the frame. I have a p71 8.8 but I think it's to wide and I may look for a fox body 8.8 and I'm pushing the rear end back to fit 35s

Few pictures of the last control arm getting done and the kit will be on its way to me! I'm holding off on doing much more until the control arms come I don't want to create to many different projects at once.

The kit is finished! Currently waiting on getting it shipped at this point. I'm going to be selling my 8.8 rear diff and going to use a s10 2wd diff instead and purchase ranger deavers. Progress will move abit faster ones the control are here but I've been running into these little problems so it's been a set back

Small update. I really wanted to keep AC in this car but when I tried to ls swap a few years ago I busted the box but thankfull found another one. My father and I spent about an hour trying to get one only to find its broken, thankfull a Grand Prix was in this field almost in touched and got a mint box to use on the Malibu pre runner and the long travel kit is finished!

How much longer are the A-arms compared to stock?

The arms are 3.5 inches over. Uppers are moved 1 inch forward still using coils I'll get 14" of down travel with a 3 inch s10 lift spindle
