Nice progress. What are you looking to do to reinforce the frame?

I'm going to be using 2" d.o.m in the rear and 1.5 in the front, the front will be bumper/engine cage and a front skid all incorporated together.

I'll be doing the rear soon

Coil buckets are plated and the frame is mostly painted. I left the rear alone because I need to work there once the body goes on so the front half is done all I need now is my spindles and to mount my upper control arms!!!

The body went back on with some wood in between it so I can clean up under the car. So far the entire floor pan was painted with rust primer and I'll undercoat it once the body is bolted on. Spindles and body mounts are on the way and then start bolting for together!

Got the underside of the car cleaned up and primered along with the fire wall. My body mounts came but not I've decided to get new bolts also, why not I'm already here right. Spindles will still be a few more days. Going to pick up some 2" .120 tube and 2x4 to start my new rear half of my frame on my days off

I got a laugh from your post when I saw:

Thank you! It's been testing my patients lately but I am slowly moving forward. Even with the garage heated it's still -25 out right now so it's abit cold haha

Okay so. I had gotten my spindles in the mail and for now set all my body mounts in place. I still have to brace the rear frame so I'll be picking up some 2" DOM today and maybe some hubs if I can find the right ones locally. I am switching over to s 5x114.3 bolt pattern, I need new 1/2 bolts aswell and a shorter bolt on the bottom end of the spindle before I can start making my brackets for the upper control arm.

I under coated the car with duplicolour bed armour, I used it before on a truck and I was happy with the finish product as I am now. I also painted the firewall and it came out nice.. a few areas I'm not overly happy with but honestly it is nicer but I may go back over it before I put the motor in. Thank you to everyone who is following and chiming in, I appreciate it and if you have any advice/tips or have an idea let me know!

I'm having trouble putting photos in at the moment so if these three photos don't work please let me know and I'll try again (I'm using tap talk)

Photos worked. What was the problem you were having?

Why are you changing the bolt pattern for the wheels? Wanting to use a specific type of wheel?
